Are you interested in being a Commencement Speaker? If so, sign up in the student services office by Friday, May 3rd. Up to 3, but not necessarily 3, will be selected by the Faculty Committee on Awards to represent their class during graduation on Sunday, May 26th

 

COLLEGE VISITS

Students there are no college visitsin May unless approved by Mr. Bowen or Mrs. Hanneman

Please plan accordingly

The June ACT will be given June 8th  Students can register at ACT.org before the deadline

of May 3rd

AMERICAN HEART CHALLENGE

This is a contest for students to learn about the risk factors associated with nicotine use, in any form, and to take a personal stand in creating a healthy, tobacco-free generation

1st place -$1,500      2nd place - $1,000 Deadline is May 10th

SUMMER SCHOOL GOVERNMENT

May 30th - July 1st and July 15th - 17th

Cost:  $100

Acceptance is on a “First Come, First Served” basis and is limited to the first 24 students

Forms are available in the office

If you are interested in being a student council/class officer or representative, please get

Completed forms need to be returned to the office by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3rd

 

CONGRATULATIONS!

 Allie Etter and Lyrissa Hammons on their State Winning and National Qualifying

 FCCLA Project. They will now be competing in California this summer. Chelsey White finished 3rd in the state in her Recycle and Redesign Project. Other competitors receiving a silver rating were Drew Kennedy, Jaden Wagner, Katie Coplin, Katie Hauter, Klare Sidle, McKenzey Sanderson, Brook Calvelage, Megan Vogt, and Hannah Hurless
