Bowling: Decker finishes 28th at State

Van Wert’s Lorrie Decker finished tied for 28th at the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s Division II State Bowling Tournament at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl on Saturday.

As a junior making her third consecutive state appearance, Decker rolled a 510 series with games of 125-195-190. Parker Smith of Circleville Logan Elm also had 510 series.

Kaylee Nicholas of Benjamin Logan High School had the highest individual series, rolling a 628 (212-229-187). Bryan won the Division II team title and Coldwater finished as the runner-up.
