The Van Wert girls tennis team pulled out a close WBL match 3-2 over St. Marys on Thursday night.
Grace Lott, Natalie Benner and Mandy Burenga all defeated the Roughriders in singles matchups while Livvi Quillen and Piper Pierce, and Ashlyn Jennings and Zoe Coleman fell in the doubles contests.
Van Wert is now 3-4 in the WBL. Their next match is on Saturday at Napoleon High School.
