The Van Wert girls basketball team recently held their awards banquet to conclude the season.
Kyra Welch (3rd team), Jaylyn Rickard (Honorable Mention), Sofia Houg (2nd team), and Carlee Young (Honorable Mention) all won conference awards.
Every member of the team was named as a Scholar athlete.
Varsity team awards included Allison Schaufelberger (Cougar Pride Award), Kyra Welch (Most Valuable Player), Sayler Wise (Most improved Player), Carlee Young (Defense Award), Sofia Houg (Offense Award and Heart and Hustle Award)
